Hogs Head Cornish Ball (Foodie Friday #10) Harry Potter Party Edition

In the next few fridays Im going to share food from the Harry Potter party.  There were no survivors from the food so either there wasnt enough or it was really good 🙂  The first recipe Im sharing is the meatball recipe. I got a lot of requests for this recipe.  Here it is!!  Modified from this post.  Sorry the picture isnt better, I had them in a covered container.  I think they were good that was the only thing I didnt get to try.

Hogs Head Cornish Ball Recipe
Servings: 12           Prep Time: 5min       Cook Time: 15min           Difficulty: Easy
Ingredients:
  • Large Bag (about 62)Frozen traditional meatballs (beef or turkey)
  • 16 oz can pineapple chunks with juice
  •  ½ c. sugar
  • 1/3 c vinegar
  • 2 tsp soy sauce
  • 1 Tb. butter
  • 1 c. water
  • 2-3 Tbs cornstarch
Instructions
Dissolve cornstarch in water in a medium pot.  Combine remaining ingredients in pot until simmering.  Add meatballs and heat thoroughly.  Continue cooking on medium low heat until sauce has thickened to desired consistency.
