WIWW #28

Y’all my brain is just not moving today.  Good sleep have been evading me this week and my brain is totally over it.  I also have been going to sleep too late and eating too much crap before bed but those things have nothing to do with the quality of sleep right ;).

I saw this skirt on ModCloth and it was just so princess-y and pretty I had to grab it.  I have a hard time finding what to wear with a high waist skirt, but lucky for me this sweater is a super cropped sweater (and luckily I scored it for $15) and works.  By the way, the painting behind me…totally sketched and painted by my husband Joe.  I have a shirt with the castle/balloons on it and asked him to paint it for me (t-shirts don’t last forever people) and he did a fantastic job.  The best gifts really are handmade.

Sweater: ModCloth

Skirt: ModCloth (out of stock now but comes back periodically through the year)

Shoes: Jessica Simpson (similar)

Earrings: Kendra Scott (sold out)

CHIME IN!!!  What do you pair with high waist bottoms?  Do you own leopard shoes?  Pockets in skirts, yay or nay?

Dude, pockets on anything are a yay for me! Lol too many clothing items don’t seem to have them and it’s seriously disappointing in my opinion.

    1. for real! if a dress have pockets i am 1000% more likely to buy it!

Pockets in dresses and skirts are always the move. I love that painting btw. So amazing that your husband did that. I wish I had that kind of talent, but I’m pretty much just a stick figure gal haha.
